ABOUT KING DAVIES
King Davies Osazenomwen Notie Dogbe, born in Italy and raised in Edo State, Nigeria, is a gifted bilingual actor whose love for storytelling is a testament to his rich African heritage and deeply personal experiences. Coming from a lineage of strength and legacy, his grandfather was a renowned trader who had 15 wives, each a part of his expansive family story. King’s mother, the daughter of the 7th wife, inherited that legacy of determination, raising five children on her own with unwavering resilience. King, her fourth child, grew up witnessing her strength and sacrifice, which became a profound source of inspiration in his life and career.
With a passion for African storytelling and real-life dramas that illuminate the complexities of the human condition, King channels these rich narratives into his craft. His journey is rooted in honoring his heritage, connecting cultures, and using his work to inspire others with stories that celebrate resilience, identity, and the triumph of the human spirit.
Education

King’s journey into acting began at the age of twelve, performing on the streets of Vicenza with an unrelenting passion that sparked his lifelong pursuit of the arts. Though he lacked formal training in his early years, his raw talent, resilience, and unwavering love for storytelling laid the foundation for his craft.
Determined to refine his skills, he pursued formal education, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Acting from the University of Northampton. This was followed by a Master’s degree in Screen Acting from the University of Salford, where he gained deeper insight into screen performance and cinematic storytelling. To further hone his craft, King enrolled at the prestigious Identity School of Acting (IDSA) in London, a place renowned for nurturing raw talent.
Inspired by legendary actors like Denzel Washington and Viola Davis, whose authenticity and emotional depth he admires, King strives to bring that same level of excellence and humanity to every role he portrays. His journey exemplifies perseverance, passion, and an enduring commitment to mastering the art of acting.
